Insula was born from the meeting of two professionals with different skills and a shared vision.
Simone Baroncelli
Co-founder - Surveyor
Surveyor with experience in the real-estate and technical field. He manages operational processes, owner relationships and the technical side of property management.
Alessio Stefani
Co-founder - Architect
Architect with design sensitivity and aesthetic vision. He oversees space enhancement, visual communication and the guest experience.
Our philosophy
Don't manage everything, manage it well
Insula is not a large platform promising to manage hundreds of properties across Italy. It is a local company rooted between Prato and Pistoia, working on selected projects with a personalized approach.
We believe management quality depends on knowledge of the area, attention to detail and a direct relationship with the owner or hospitality manager. That is why we work on fewer projects, with greater attention to each one.
Do not manage everything, manage well
Our philosophy: a few projects managed with care and method are worth more than many managed superficially.
Multidisciplinary approach
Simone brings the technical precision of a surveyor, Alessio the spatial and design vision of an architect. Together they cover every aspect.
Roots in the area
We know the Prato and Pistoia market from the inside. We are not a national chain, but a local team with specific expertise.

We know both how to optimize an Airbnb profile and how to coordinate cleaning and manage guests professionally.

Our main operating area. We manage apartments in the historic centre, in the industrial districts of the Macrolotto and near the station. Strong demand from workers, technicians and visitors to the Prato textile district.
Province of Pistoia
We operate in Pistoia city, Agliana (Insula operating office at Via Cantone 28), Montale and Quarrata. Cultural tourism, Pistoia spa towns and a growing short-term rental market.
Province of Florence
We manage properties in the Florence area when aligned with the Insula method: defined guest target, valuable location and concrete revenue potential.
Rural Tuscany
Villas, agriturismi and holiday homes in the Tuscan hills and countryside. Complete operational management for non-hotel accommodation in areas with high tourist potential.
All of Italy
The Insula Digital Coach service is delivered entirely remotely: we digitalise and optimise agriturismi, B&Bs, holiday homes and hospitality businesses anywhere in Italy. We look after the website, OTAs, channel manager, automation, revenue management and guest communication.
